What The Wire does not do

  • No bulk automated purchasing that evades queue, CAPTCHA, or bot mitigation on primary markets. Ever. Not as a setting, not as a paid tier.
  • No CAPTCHA solving and no session-sharing schemes designed to defeat vendor controls.
  • No instructions for scalping rings. Stan refuses, in product, with an explanation.
  • No storing card numbers or CVV. Armed buy uses a token from a licensed processor. We never see the card.

Armed buy, in plain language

Armed buy is an attended assistant, not a bot. The default is confirm-to-buy: when conditions match, you get 60 seconds to tap yes. If you do nothing, nothing happens.

  • Hard ceiling is all-in, including fees, re-checked at the moment of confirmation.
  • Purchases only on marketplaces you whitelisted.
  • Velocity limits and per-show ticket caps, with no override.
  • Kill switch on every watch card.
  • Full receipt log, and a one-tap dispute packet on every purchase.
  • Optional instant buy exists only on official/verified inventory, and only after a separate acknowledgment that the marketplace's own terms apply to you.

We do not condone terms-of-service evasion, bulk botting, or resale above applicable law or Warehouse rules.

The exchange

  • Face value or under, between verified fans. Above-face listings are rejected by the server, not hidden by the UI.
  • Identity is phone + show history + reputation. New accounts cannot post high-value listings.
  • Optional escrow: money moves when the ticket transfer confirms.
  • Warehouse resale has its own rules and its own consequences. We surface the membership-risk warning rather than letting you find out the hard way.
  • Scam reports in the ticket rooms are reviewed within 2 hours during tour season.

Facts and statistics are not copyrightable and we publish them freely. Full lyrics, official recordings, and poster images are not ours — they need rights, or they live as user uploads with fair-use care and attribution. Methodology and sourcing →

If someone official offers a path

If management, the Warehouse, or a ticketing partner offers an official data or ticketing relationship, we take it. Being clever is worse than being allowed.
